Doctor Who-Series 3 Episode 13: last Of The Time Lords

Like last week, there'll be one or two "lies" or "throwoffs" in these here spoilers.
By the way, good work to: Miss Treebs, Prometheus, Funky Peanut and, of course, the team behind Sparacus (Sparacus: you know who you are, I know who you are, BBC Wales definately knows who you are!!)

No jobs were lost in giving these spoliers. I didn't see a 'preview copy', but I did see one without proper music (I assume), with numbers on the bottom of the screen, and a big fucking yellow 'X' over the image.

I'll be brief (and, proabably, annoying cryptic)

- The Doc doesn't regenerate.
- Martha remembers something from an earlier episode that really helps her.
- Captain Jack isn't a Timelord. The truth itself would break your heart and, not wanting to ruin anything for saturday, I really can't tell you. The only clues I'm prepared to give: FOB, the last days of the Time War, Wolverine)
- Tish needs a shorter skirt
- Leo could have worked at Butlins.
- Jack and the Doctor can never meet again (at least in this regeneration)
- Not all 'Doctors' died in the Time War
- There is a sort of 'reset' button, but it doesn't apply to three people.
- Handsome guys with 5 o'clock shadows tend to die in a very unvaliant way.
- "You won't!" "I will."
- "Nostalgia isn't what it used to be." (a charcter then dies)
- The Toclafane are unused Timelord regenerations. They're angry as hell!

Thats all.

Ta ta.

Please can you give some more information on what's going on with Jack? My 7 year old son idolises him, if there is trouble ahead (eg him falling out irrevocably with the doctor) then I need to be able to prepare him.............

Merci Professeur Qui.

Est-ce le docteur de William Hartnell que nous voyons dans cet épisode ?

So, a little but of a bullshitter are we?

In need of attention by any chance?

No Sarah Jane, no 'familiar face'.

Sounds to me like there were a few misinterpretations in this but nothing that strikes me as an outright lie... Care to comment?

All in all it sounds to me like this person was watching a previous version (not the final cut) of this episode... Perhaps not great quality either...

'Rememeber the Sea Devils? The Clangers. Well, the Master's at it again with the Teletubbies. Funny scene (and the look of utter incredulity and contempt on Simms face. "Tinky Winky!")'

The author doesn't actually claim the Master SAYS "Tinky Winky" at all...

And while he is not looking at them with contempt, it may well be possible to misinterpret his facial expression especially if the author was watching a dodgy copy.

'The Jones family: taking away. Who's that in the back of the van also being driven off? Why! it's Sarah Jane Smith!'

Could the author have just been imagining things? (See comment on dodgy copy above)

'Brigadear Leibridge Stewart. In name only. Oh, and he's dead'

I suspect this could have been a cut scene where Lucy is revealed to be the Brig's daughter or something, and perhaps the Master actually spun her a story about how HE was the original Doctor (hence the cape...) and the Doc is an impostor?

'Time vortex manipulator. Back to the future. The Doctors very angry. He basically loses both his friends with a single comment'

Perhaps a slight misinterpretation about the "like when you fancy someone..." scene? (He hardly loses them)

'Jack remembers something the same time the Doctor does. They exchange a look. I felt a shiver go through me then. Jack!!'

That look between them Re: "Secret Brother"?

'Galifrey. CGI. A very familiar face. Absolutely well done. Remember how they used to do CGI faces and people back in the old days? Well the Beeb have just blown that out of the ****ing water!'

I suspect she thought the first face was Hartnell?

'The Master and his regenerations. "There was always a way, Doctor. You know that better than anyone"'

Nope, but again who knows could well have been a cut scene, or perhaps something that ended up in LotTL instead?

You hardly got anything right!

Are you sure you watched the right thing?
